Rouden Privacy Policy
Rouden is a productivity app that helps users manage routines, goals, journals, notifications, and game-like progression systems for self-improvement.
1. Information We Collect
- Account identifiers used for sign-in and account recovery.
- Quests, routines, journal entries, progression data, inventory state, and related in-app activity.
- Device information, app version, locale, timezone, notification tokens, and operational logs.
- AI-related text inputs that you submit for analysis or response generation.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide sync, sign-in, data recovery, and routine tracking.
- Deliver push notifications and reminder scheduling that you enable.
- Operate AI-assisted features for journal, goal, and chat experiences.
- Monitor reliability, debug incidents, and improve product quality.
3. Microphone Permission on Android
Rouden requests the Android microphone permission because the focus music feature uses audio sampling to render an in-app waveform visualization while audio is playing. Rouden is not intended to record, store, or transmit your spoken conversations for this feature.
If you deny microphone permission, the waveform visualization or related audio sampling features may not work, but the rest of the app can still be used.
4. Notifications
If you grant notification permission, Rouden may send routine reminders, schedule-related alerts, and service notices that are necessary for the app experience you enable.
5. Third-Party Services
Rouden may use third-party service providers to operate the app, including services for authentication, backend infrastructure, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, and AI processing.
6. Data Sharing
Rouden does not sell personal information. Data may be processed by service providers only as needed to operate the app and its infrastructure.
7. Data Retention
Data is retained for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain account state, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce service terms.
8. Your Choices
- You can deny optional permissions such as microphone or notifications.
- You can stop using the app or delete your account from within the app.
9. Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your Rouden account directly in the app:
- Open the Rouden app.
- Sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Profile.
- Select Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion prompt.
When account deletion is completed, Rouden deletes account-linked service data from the backend, including profile state, quests, routines, journals, progression data, inventory state, notification ownership data, and related account records.
Some operational records may be retained for a limited period where required for security, fraud prevention, debugging, legal compliance, or backup integrity. These retained records are not used to continue providing the deleted account.
If you cannot access the app, use the developer contact shown on the Rouden Google Play listing and include the Google account or sign-in method associated with the Rouden account you want deleted.
10. Children's Privacy
Rouden is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to consent to data processing on their own.
11. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as the product, infrastructure, or legal requirements change. The latest version should be published at the URL provided on the store listing or service site.
